Delivery Charges and Dates
Free delivery is applicable to all orders only within Singapore main Island. Each order is only entitled to one trip of free delivery, subsequent split delivery or rescheduled delivery due to any mistake of customer such as but not limited to, no one is home to take the delivery, will be subjected to additional delivery charges.
In the event that due to special requests, the order has to be split into 2 or more deliveries, additional charges may be imposed.
All installations are free unless stated otherwise.
An additional surcharge of S$50 will be imposed on order deliveries going to Sentosa Island. We do not deliver to Jurong Island.
Under any circumstances that your chosen date can’t be fulfilled for any reason, we will notify you at the best of our time and arrange for any free delivery at your convenient date. At any situation of lack of stock, customers will also be notified at the best of time with an option to change the product or cancel it.
One main condition of free delivery is that your registered venue has to be accessible by an elevator. If your venue is not accessible by an elevator on the same floor, additional charges may be imposed of $10/item/floor starting from the 3rd floor onwards. Carrying the furniture up one level is free; For example up to the second floor of a landed property or second level of a HDB flat. 3rd floor of a landed property or 3rd floor of a HDB flat, a $10/item surcharge will be imposed. In an example situation that a customer orders 4 items to be sent via staircase to the 5th floor, he/she will be charged $10 x 4 x 3floors = S$120 total.
If the route of delivery is deem hazardous or dangerous, Shop5.sg reserves to right to cancel the order. Shop5.sg retain the rights to make any changes to this part of the Terms & Conditions without notice and reserves the final say in all orders pending with Shop5.sg
Delivery Time & Disposal
Customers will be contacted via phone or email one day before delivery date or on actual delivery date in the Morning (before 12pm) regarding a convenient delivery time for both party. We try to compromise with every customer regarding delivery timing, however we do have a schedule and at certain times we will not be able to accommodate everyone. In a case where a delivery timing cannot be agreed on, the delivery will be re-scheduled for another delivery day with no additional charges. However, should the delivery timing be agreed on by both party, however upon arrival there is no one at home or delivery is unable to commence due to a mistake on the customer’s side, a re-delivery will be scheduled for another day and a $30 re-delivery charge will be imposed. All delivery timing are subjected to changes and subjective to our delivery schedule. Any special requests will be considered and we will try our best to accommodate everyone. However Shop5.sg reserves the right the make the final decision and change delivery timing without notice.
We do not deliver to Condominium premises on Saturday/Sunday/Public Holidays. On weekdays, condominium premises delivery is only possible on weekdays 9.00am – 5.00pm. Please make arrangement beforehand for your convenience. We do not do disposal for old mattresses or furniture. Please contact your local Town Council or Disposal company.
Most of our products are being delivered from our manufacturers to maintain low cost so our prices can remain competitive. If you have multiple items on a single order, the items may be delivered to you on different timing and you may receive the items separately. In such cases, we will try to arrange the delivery timing to be as close as possible so you can receive all of the items within a short period of time. It is however subjected to our manufacturers delivery schedule availability. You will be informed in advance in cases of multiple delivery and timing. Please do not hesitate to contact our office for enquiries.
Changing of Delivery Dates/Items or Cancellation
For changes to delivery dates, order items or cancellation of orders, please send an email with your invoice number and name to [email protected] at least 48hours before delivery date. Your invoice number will be given to you in an order confirmation email when you first placed your order. Any changes with less than 48 hours to delivery date will be processed but subjective to availability of resources.
There will be no cancellation on customised items.
Damaged Goods/Manufacture Defect
All customers are advised to check their items thoroughly upon delivery before signing on the invoice. In the case of any manufacture defects found, you are entitled to reject the item on the spot and request for a new piece to be delivered to you. In the case of wrong items delivered, you are also entitled for another free delivery. However if there is no defect and the correct item is delivered and you wish to reject the item due to other personal reasons, there will be a delivery charge of $50-$150 being imposed on you depending on the size of the item(s).
All of our mattresses comes with warranties up to 20years. Different mattresses comes with different warranties usually directly from their manufacturer. You will find your warranty card/papers being packed along with the mattresses. Warranty coverage may differ among various mattresses brands and models, but they will generally cover the basics like internal spring, broken springs or serious sagging which is not caused by overtime wear and tear. Please follow the instructions on the warranty card for your warranty claim. We advise all customers to fill and submit their warranty cards upon receiving the products.
All of our furniture comes with a 6 month warranty on manufacturer’s defect, not including wear & tear or misuse. If you have any manufacturer’s defect on your furniture within 6 months, please take a picture and send it to our customer service email at [email protected] Please include along your invoice number and name. We will be in contact with you shortly and our service team will seek the address the issue. Usually a servicing appointment will be made within schedule to try and address the issue and fix the defect. If the defect is unable to be fixed, we will arrange for a free exchange to a brand new product. Please do note that Shop5.sg reserves the right to make all return, refund and exchange decision and will reserve the right of final say in all situations.
All purchases made on Shop5.sg can be paid via Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Paypal or Cash upon Delivery. We process all of your cards via Paypal secured network so rest assured that your personal information is secure with us.
If cash upon Delivery is selected, please ensure that full payment of the order is to be made upon delivery. No foreign currencies will be accepted. If payment by cash is not received in full upon delivery, Shop5.sg reserve the right to remove some or all of its items back to our warehouse and a S$50-S$150 restocking fee may be imposed on you. Strictly no changes of payment method is to be made upon delivery.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The law governing the use of this Website and all of its transaction is the Law of Singapore. Any aspect that are not covered by our Terms and Conditions are subjected to the Law of Singapore.
Shop5.sg reserves the right to make the final say in all situations within Shop5.sg and will try its best to create the fairest decision for both merchant and consumer alike. Shop5.sg also reserves the right to change its policies without notice.
